The Code Enforcement Division is committed to safeguarding the health, welfare, and quality of life within Indian Trail through enforcement of codes and regulations. We strive to eliminate the uncaring, adversarial stereotype image that plagues so many regulatory agencies. Our goal is to create a friendly, non-intimidating atmosphere providing customers with guidance for the resolutions of problems.

How to Report a Code Violation

The Town will respond to all reports of a possible code violation. There are several methods by which you can file a code violation complaint, including an online form.

Common Code Violations

The Town's Ordinances provide regulations to protect the public health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of the Town. Common code violations often include things such as yard and lot maintenance and derelict or abandoned vehicles.
